Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Matthew Fowler on behalf of the Park Gate Holyrood Owners Association.

Data collected

Standard non-personal information (your IP address, browser user-agent string, etc.) is logged and may be used either in aggregate to generate statistics or reviewed directly to investigate and resolve technical issues with this website.

Commenting and similar direct visitor interactions are not enabled on this site, save for a contact form which is used to send your message directly to the site administrator. Such contact-form messages are retained on the server and may additionally be shared with others if deemed appropriate by the site administrator for the purpose of resolving enquiries, questions, etc.

Cookies

This website does not use third-party cookies for analytics, tracking, advertising, or any other selfish purpose. You may encounter third-party cookies in the context of embedded content from other sites (see below).

First-party cookies (that is, cookies that originate from this website and are not shared with any other company or organisation) are used to enable the “password protection” feature used on some (Owner-specific) pages on this site. When the correct password is sent for access, a cookie is sent back to the visitor’s browser to retain the knowledge that they have provided the password so they do not need to be asked for it on every subsequent visit to a protected page.

First-party cookies may also be used for other functionality-necessary purposes.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts, pages and other types of content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share general visitor data with any other person or organisation, unless directly required to by law. Contact-form submissions may be shared with appropriate third parties if necessary to resolve queries.

How long we retain your data

Access-log data may be retained for up to one year. Contact-form submissions are only retained on the server as long as necessary to resolve the enquiry, but an email copy will be retained indefinitely.
