Key boxes, also known as key safes (and less politely as “AirBnB Barnacles”), are not allowed to be installed in any common area of the Park Gate Holyrood development. This includes on the exterior fabric of the building.
This policy decision was made at the Owners Association AGM in August 2024.
They will be removed without further warning.
If you feel there is a good specific reason why an exception should be granted for your particular case, the owner of the flat must contact the Owners Association to discuss before installing.
Short Term / Holiday Letting of your flat (AirBnB, etc.) will not be an acceptable reason.
