Car Park information

The manual exit buttons for the roller shutter doors will be disabled very shortly. This change was agreed at the Owners Association Committee meeting on Thursday 16 October 2025 and warning signs have been posted ahead of this change.

This is to improve the security of the Park Gate Holyrood blocks due to abuse, vandalism and bike theft.

It is now necessary to use a clicker (remote control) to operate the roller shutter doors. If you do not have a clicker, contact Sentry (our Factors) if you own your flat, or your landlord / lettings agent if you rent.

All owners and residents are reminded that the doors out to the car park are not emergency exits. In an emergency, use the glass front doors to exit to the street.

With the retirement of the manual exit buttons, anyone using the car park needs to have a clicker and also needs to know the door code for their stair.

If anyone else is using your parking space, including contractors or visitors, you must provide them with:

  • The marked number, and position, of your parking space
  • Your Resident or Visitor parking permit (issued by P4Parking)
  • A clicker (remote control) so they can operate the shutters
  • The door code for your stair.

Parking enforcement is performed by P4Parking on behalf of all block owners, as is detailed on their signs within the car park. Cars parked without displaying a valid permit may be ticketed.
